Green Tiles – Taplow

A bit about the project

Situated amidst rolling hills and a lush woodland, Oxfordshire’s Quarry House was designed by A-Zero Architects. The structure is arranged around a central, double-height atrium and is made of wood on the top stories and masonry at the base, all in accordance with Passivhaus requirements. In order to better understand how the Schüco systems—which include FWS 60.SI Green curtain walling, AWS 90.SI windows, and ASE 80.HI sliding doors—could help the transition to Passivhaus compliance, the architect first contacted specialised contractor Aumaxum during the design process.
